I just finished this book last week for the second time. I have been a huge fan of David Platt’s for some years now and listen to his podcast weekly. This week our singles director Brent Shoemaker continued our series ’Shocking Statements of Jesus’. Brent enouraged us to see people as Jesus did. The biggest statement I took away was “who are we missing (who needs our help) because we are so concerned/pre-occupied with ourselves?”
